WHERE WE COME FROM
The Vall de Cardós Council, in collaboration with the Valls de Cardós Cultural, Civic and Sports Association, is committed to support the mythological cinema event and the literature that so often inspires it, with the organization of the CARDÓS FILM FEST – MYTHOLOGICAL FESTIVAL OF CINEMA AND LITERATURE OF THE PYRENEES.
Both the Council and the Association have a long history of organizing cultural, mythological, and folklore events and activities, such as Ambruixat and the Literary Games. In 2024, the Council of the Vall de Cardós took part in organizing the first mythological film festival in the Pyrenees.
OBJECTIVES
· To recover and disseminate popular and ancestral culture.
audiovisual and other arts, with sustainable, viable, responsible and diverse events to participate and share.
· To broaden the scope to take advantage of both the local and tourism population the activities will be decentralized and not be seasonally bound
· To continue forging alliances with other organizations and festivals, especially in the Pyrenees.
